eDocsOnline provides a complete online storage and document management system designed to address the needs of everyone. The following describes one of the features presented in eDocsOnline.
Document Management Security
 
Access to any folder can be quickly and safely restricted to individuals or groups. You decide which individuals get permission to view, modify or delete your documents and information.
By setting different levels of access, you can have your data completely blocked, or shared with colleagues, distant workers and business partners. You control who can "read only" and who has broader privileges to add, modify or delete information.
 
Each folder can be restricted to other members of your workspace. You can quickly configure the required level of access and set up to 4 levels of access to the folder including read, write or full access.
Restricted access folders (for example, Read Only Folder) can be created. These folders enforce read only of all their contents and are an ideal distribution source for company approved documents such as company dress code or expense report templates.
Another example of restricted access folder is a folder with financial information. You can open this folder only to a limited number of members. Others will not see this folder at all, in other words they are not entitled to view.

Security level 3 Read, Add, Edit access
Security level 4 Full access

Additional Authentication Security Features:
  • Single Point of Logon
    eDocsOnline application is accessible through a single, common login screen providing a secure 'Front Door' to the entire system. You first login by providing a unique username and password. Your password is encrypted and verified against the account information held in a secure database.
  • Session Security Service
    You are automatically disconnected after 30 minutes of inactivity. Session variables are kept server side, and no information is left on your browsers. In other words, if somebody else accesses the browser at your computer, no information is available.
